This application process is designed to select Patient Research Partners (PRPs) for in-person attendance at the OMERACT 2027 conference. OMERACT 2027 is scheduled to take place May 19-23, 2027, in Toronto, Canada. https://omeract.org/om2027/. It aims to ensure equitable access for PRPs from diverse backgrounds, disease representations, and geographic locations, fostering transparency and accountability in the selection process. Please include in your application letter as many of these criteria that pertain to your experience as a PRP.

We welcome a diverse range of applicants for participation, recognizing that prospective PRPs may vary from seasoned OMERACT veterans to those newly embarking on their journey.
A letter of support is required as part of the OMERACT 2027 Patient Research Partner (PRP) application. Letters help the review committee understand your engagement with OMERACT, your contributions, and your readiness to participate in an in-person conference.
Letters are typically provided by an OMERACT Working Group Co-Chair relevant external organization may provide a letter if you are not yet affiliated with an OMERACT Working Group.
Letters may be uploaded within the application or emailed to admin@omeract.org by March 31, 2026.
PRPs selected to attend OMERACT 2027 are expected to actively participate before, during, and after the conference. This includes engagement in conference sessions, completion of pre-conference preparation, collaborative participation with researchers and fellow PRPs, and post-conference feedback and knowledge sharing.
Applicants will be asked to review and confirm their understanding of the full Expectations and Commitments as part of the online application process.
